Closet door installation & replacement in Greater Vancouver
Sunify Group installs and replaces closet doors across Greater Vancouver, including sliding, bifold and barn-door systems. Start with photos of the opening, approximate measurements and the style you have in mind. We will review the fit, hardware and finishing work before confirming your scope.
A door change can update a bedroom, hallway or storage space without a full-room renovation. The right choice depends on access to the closet, space in front of it and the condition of the opening—not just the look of the door.
Call or text (778) 522-1810. Send your city, opening sizes and preferred style.

Sliding, bifold or barn doors?
Start with how you use the space. A wide-looking opening is not necessarily fully accessible once doors, drawers and furniture are in place.
Sliding closet doors
Panels pass across the opening rather than swinging into the room.
Before choosing: Check track space, panel overlap and whether you can reach the shelves and drawers behind each panel.
Bifold closet doors
Folding panels can provide a wider view into a closet when open.
Before choosing: Allow space for the folded panels and check the pivot locations, floor clearance and nearby furniture.
Barn doors
An exposed track can suit an opening with clear wall space beside it.
Before choosing: Review wall travel, mounting support, trim and hardware clearance. A barn door is not a sealed substitute for every hinged door.

Plan the complete replacement, not just the panels
- Sliding closet-door replacement and compatible track installation
- Bifold closet-door installation and replacement
- Barn doors and track hardware for suitable interior openings
- Opening, floor-clearance and hardware compatibility checks
- Trim, patching and finishing requirements identified in the quote
The quote depends on the number and size of openings, door system, hardware, condition of the opening and finishing scope. Material supply, old-door removal and disposal should be confirmed separately.
Changing a door style can expose old screw holes, a paint line or a section of flooring previously hidden by a track. Include these areas in the photos so finishing work can be discussed before installation.
For a condo or rental, tell us about access arrangements and any building or owner requirements before booking. This page covers closet and ordinary interior openings, not a specification for fire-rated, suite-entry or exterior doors.
Send photos and opening sizes
- One photo of the whole opening with the doors closed, and one with them open
- Close-ups of existing tracks, pivots, guides and any damage
- Approximate opening width and height, labelled in inches or millimetres
- Photos of the floor, trim and wall space beside and above the opening
- Your city, number of openings and preferred sliding, bifold or barn-door style
- A product link if you already have doors or hardware; note whether supply, painting and disposal are needed
Approximate measurements help with the initial discussion; they are not final order sizes. Keep existing doors and hardware in place for the photos. Final measurements and product requirements must be checked before ordering or installation.

Closet-door questions
Sometimes. The opening size, track location, floor and access to shelves or drawers must suit the new system. Send photos and approximate measurements before ordering doors; changing styles can also leave old fixing holes or unfinished areas to address.
Only if it is in suitable condition and compatible with the selected doors and hardware. Tracks, rollers and guides are not universally interchangeable. Include clear photos or a model number so the proposed replacement can be reviewed.
A barn door needs suitable wall space for its travel, clearance around trim and hardware, and an appropriate mounting arrangement. Switches, outlets, nearby doors and furniture can affect the layout. We review the actual opening and the selected manufacturer’s requirements before confirming suitability.
Send the product link, door dimensions and hardware details with photos of the opening. We can review a customer-supplied door installation, but compatibility and any additional work need to be confirmed before scheduling.
A sticking door or loose guide does not automatically need replacement. Send photos and describe the problem so we can review whether an adjustment or repair is a practical option. Damaged panels or incompatible hardware may make replacement more appropriate.
The number of openings, door sizes and system, hardware, opening condition and finishing requirements affect the scope. Confirm who supplies the doors, whether old-door removal and disposal are included, and whether trim, patching or painting is required.
Closet-door replacement is interior work, so you can enquire throughout the year. Availability, materials, access and the final scope still need to be confirmed; no installation date is promised before that review.
