Kitchen remodelling in West Vancouver and North Vancouver
The right plan begins with the home, not a generic luxury package. For an Ambleside, Dundarave, or Lonsdale kitchen, retaining a workable layout may leave more budget for cabinetry and finishes. Moving walls or services needs a different scope and review.
We coordinate agreed construction with your chosen designer or suppliers where applicable. Cabinet shop drawings, appliance specifications, countertop cutouts, and ventilation requirements should be settled before installation dates are promised.
Cabinetry, islands, and open-concept planning
An island needs suitable clearances, power and plumbing planning where relevant, and coordination with the existing floor. Custom cabinetry is sourced and installed as an agreed scope; we do not claim to operate an in-house cabinet factory.
A wall is not assumed removable from photos. Structural review, required drawings, and approvals must precede the affected work. The quote should distinguish the engineer’s design, trade work, and finishing around the opening.
Budget, selections, and time without a kitchen
The schedule depends on cabinet and surface lead times, approved work, access, and the construction sequence. Discuss temporary cooking arrangements and whether adjacent rooms will stay occupied before demolition.
The written scope lists what is retained, supplied by the owner, included as an allowance, or excluded. Selection changes and hidden-condition work require approval rather than an assumption that every upgrade is included.

Share the rooms, municipality, approximate size, priorities, and preferred timing. Photos help us prepare for a site review; they are not a fixed-price construction quote.

Site and feasibility review
Review existing conditions, access, occupancy, design information, and any engineering, strata, or permit requirements before confirming the construction scope.

Written scope and selections
Separate labour, materials, allowances, specialist work, exclusions, and payment milestones. Confirm responsibility for drawings, permits, and selections in writing.

Coordinated construction
Schedule agreed work and required inspections. Regulated work is undertaken by appropriately licensed trades. Changes to the agreed scope require written approval.

Completion and handover
Review finishing and outstanding items, and provide the agreed project documentation. Applicable workmanship-warranty terms are recorded in the contract.
Honest pricing — quoted in writing
Kitchen cost is driven by cabinetry, countertop fabrication, appliances, layout changes, access, and the condition of existing services. We separate supply allowances and owner-supplied items from construction and licensed-trade work. A final price requires dimensions, selections, and a defined scope; no unapproved starting price is advertised.

We can assess and scope the construction with required qualified professionals. Structural feasibility and approvals must be confirmed before a wall-removal proposal is treated as buildable.
Yes. A full cabinet, counter, tile, and finish update can retain the layout. We still review the actual electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and building requirements.
We provide a project-specific sequence after scope, approvals, selections, and material availability are established. A universal completion promise would not account for those dependencies.
