Small patches can sometimes be done in a single visit; larger or multi-coat repairs usually need more than one, because each coat of mud must dry before sanding. We give you a realistic expectation when we scope the work.

We match common textures — orange peel, knockdown, and smooth — as closely as we can. On older or heavily textured walls an exact match isn’t always possible, and we’ll tell you upfront if that’s the case.

In some older homes, certain wall and ceiling materials shouldn’t be disturbed without proper assessment. If that’s a possibility on your project, we’ll pause and recommend appropriate testing by a qualified professional before any work begins. We don’t perform hazardous-material testing or removal ourselves, and we’d never advise sampling or sanding suspect material yourself.

Priming and painting can be included, but they are not automatically included in every drywall repair quote. Confirm whether the scope ends at a prepared patch, includes primer and spot painting, or includes repainting the full wall or ceiling. Existing paint age, sheen, texture and lighting can make a spot repair visible; an exact match is not guaranteed.

It depends on how far the damage spread. If the board is only stained but still firm, we can often cut out the affected area, re-tape, and re-texture. If it is soft, sagging, or the drywall has lost its integrity, we replace that section rather than patch over a problem. We will tell you honestly which one your ceiling needs.

Yes. Bulging tape, visible seams, and patches that never blended are common — we can re-float, re-sand, and re-texture the area so it matches the surrounding wall.
