Most projects involve re-cladding the surround in tile, stone, or slab, updating or replacing the mantel, and any framing, drywall, trim, and paint needed to finish it cleanly. Many homeowners also add a feature wall with built-in shelving or a mounted TV.
Yes — a fireplace-and-TV feature wall is one of our most requested projects. We frame and finish the wall, run the cabling paths cleanly (any regulated electrical connections are completed by a licensed electrical contractor), and integrate the fireplace, shelving, and TV mount into one clean design.
We handle the renovation side — removing the old surround, reframing the opening, fitting an electric insert, and building the new feature wall. Any gas disconnection, capping, or removal is regulated work that must be completed and permitted by an appropriately licensed gas contractor; we coordinate our renovation around that step rather than performing regulated gas work ourselves.
We do the framing, finishing, and insert fitting. Where regulated electrical work is required — such as a new dedicated circuit — it is completed by an appropriately licensed electrical contractor.
